Tara Heckard-Bryant

Tara Heckard-Bryant is a Los Angeles native and has been a practicing law since 2001. Ms. Heckard-Bryant has practiced both as a sole practitioner and as a member of at local law firms. She is an experienced litigator, with proficiency in a breadth of practice areas, including personal injury/premises liability, complex family law matters, consumer protection, business disputes, and medical malpractice actions. Early on in her practice, Ms. Heckard-Bryant gained experience handling entertainment litigation, including misappropriation of image, and copyright actions, as well as drafting various entertainment contracts, including synch licenses, music publishing and songwriter agreements, negotiated on behalf of independent music professionals.  Due to her diverse background, she is adept at handling a variety of disputes and her diligence, alacrity, and integrity translate into positive results for her clients.  She has a very personal approach to representation, and maintains meaningful and regular client contact, as a rule. Ms. Heckard-Bryant has obtained six and seven-figure settlements on behalf of her clients in various practice areas. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from UCLA and her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law.
