Asmik Jasmine Gevorkyan is an associate at McElfish Law Firm, P.C., where she combines her talents and background in service to her clients.
Ms. Gevorkyan represents wide array of clients, ranging from individuals to corporations, insurance carriers and third party administrators, based in varying parts of the country. She focuses her practice on Death Claims cases and handles wide range of complex litigation matters in both the state and federal courts, including car, truck, motorcycle, bicycle and pedestrian accidents, wrongful death, brain injury, slip and falls, dog bite injuries, premises liability, medical malpractice, dangerous products/products liability and other general business contract and tort claims.
Ms. Gevorkyan prides herself on providing personalized attention to the needs of each client. She is hard working, thorough, and ethical. She emphasizes a pro-active case management, which includes an aggressive ‘law and motion’ practice, discovery and investigation.
She has been certified by Pepperdine University’s Straus Institute in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution. She is also certified by Westlaw for Research Proficiency in litigation, employment, tax, trademark, patent, international, environmental and bankruptcy law. Ms. Gevorkyan also holds a California Pharmacy Technician license. Her unique background, experience and knowledge of prescription drugs help her understand and litigate pharmacy, physician/hospital liability issues.
Ms. Gevorkyan delved into the legal profession at a very young age, working as a paralegal at law firms while supporting her family through college. She earned her J.D. from the Santa Barbara and Ventura Colleges of Law in 2006. She is admitted to practice in all state courts of California and in the United States District Court, Central District of California. She is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA), and the California Young Lawyers Association (CYLA).
Ms. Gevorkyan is fluent in Russian and Armenian, which helps the firm serve needs of the Armenian and Russian community in California.
