About NATSA:
Any driver who has a CDL and operates the following must be
drug and alcohol tested:
- Vehicles
with a gross vehicle weight rating of 26,001 or more pounds
- Vehicles
with a gross combination weight rating of 26,001 or more pounds, inclusive
of a towed unit with a gross vehicle weight rating of more than 10,000
pounds
- Passenger
vehicles designed to transport 16 or more passengers including the driver
- Vehicles
transporting hazardous materials that require placarding

Membership:
- Initial
enrollment is $50.00 for New York Motor Association members, $100.00 for
non-members
