There is no question that companies
appreciate the focus of a law firm on providing current evaluations
and recommendations on the status of files. We are careful to report
based on the individual client's specially developed reporting guidelines
and timelines. We also are careful to request permission before
certain tasks are performed so that litigation expenses can be evaluated
in advance by the adjuster or claims manager. We attempt to strike
a sensitive balance between aggressive claim handling and cost consciousness
that meets the needs of the specific carrier that we think is appreciated.
